The Prosecutor General Longinhos Monteiro said the suspect wanted for
Sunday's shooting death of a National Congress for Timorese
Reconstruction (CNRT) team-member had been arrested.

Monteiro told Timorese public television news of the arrest last night
(6/6).

Monteiro said the Public Prosecutor's office have recommended that the
suspect be taken straight to Dili District Court to face charges.

He added that the shooting was not linked to the elections.
