Tuesday 20th March 2007 - Same

On Sunday 18th March, around 11am Timor Leste (East Timor) time, Eduardo da Costa, man of 29 years, was taken by force from his home in Same by Australian Army and hold arrested up to date with the presumption he has five fire arms hidden.

Eduardo's family was not allowed to visit him and told he will be back home soon.

On Monday they tied up and blindfolded Eduardo and paraded him around the city for over one hour using him as a shield to access some areas they think Alfredo may be hiding, and then took him to his wife and kids. There Australian Army told his wife and kids they were going to send him to court as he has not confessed to possess the fire arms they wanted to find.

Today, two days after his arrest, Australian army and his commander Mr Chris, did not allow his father to visit him or know his whereabouts and his welfare.
