Six Australians including five soldiers have been injured in East Timor in a truck accident.
The truck, carrying soldiers and a civilian interpreter, rolled over near the capital Dili about 1.30pm (AEST) today, a Defence spokesman said.
"Immediate medical assistance was provided at the scene to the injured personnel who were then evacuated by helicopter to the medical facility in Dili," Brigadier Andrew Nikolic said.
"None of the injuries have been assessed as being life threatening.
"Our priority at this time is to ensure the injured people receive the best available medical attention and that their families are being notified."
The Department of Defence has not released details of how the accident occurred.
